Anniversary Trip to North (結婚記念日で北部へ行ってきました)

For our anniversary (Feb 21) we drove to the north of Okinawa to spend a night in a hotel by the ocean. It was a chance to get away. Later that weekend, we went to see the cherry blossoms (sakura) but almost all had fallen off of the trees. But we found some on the tree. Regardless, the northern part of Okinawa is very pretty and much less populated than the central region (where we live).

2/21の結婚記念日を祝うために沖縄本島の北部まで一泊で行ってきました。海の近くのホテルでゆっくりできました。帰りに名護に寄って桜を見に行ったのですが、前の週の雨で殆ど桜が散ってしまったとのことで、少ししかまだ咲いていませんでした。残念。。。北部地方は私たちが住む中部地方に比べると自然が豊かなので綺麗なところです。
