Back in Japan, we celebrated New Year's with Yumi's family. The menu: karaage (fried chicken), mochi (pounded rice), and an assortment of other side dishes and vegetables. Reika and Sae-Chan, our nieces, were glad to see us. It would great if some of the other Takahashi's came to visit us in Okinawa.
1月に入って日本へ帰国し、少し遅い新年会を由美の家族と祝いました。由美の家族がみんな集まり楽しい時間が持てました。から揚げや色々な種類の餅などをごちそうでした。少しの間でしたが、私たちの姪っ子の玲花と冴英と公園で遊ぶ時間が持てて良かったです。
