John Wesley (ジョン・ウェスレー)

While Luis, Angela, and Carmen were in town we visited the statue of Wesley in Reynolds Square in Savannah.  John Wesley was the founder of Methodism and lived in Savannah for a brief period of time in 1836 - 1837 and then returned to England.   

ルイスとアンジェラとサバンナのレイノルドスクウェアにあるジョン・ウェスレーの銅像を見に行ってきました。ご存知の通り、ジョン・ウェスレーはメソジスト教会の創始者で、1836-1837年までここサバンナで滞在した後、イギリスへ戻ったと言われています。
