Paul and Natsuki's Wedding (ポールとなつきの結婚式)

Our good friends Paul Smith and Natsuki Iha were married at the chapel on Camp Kinser. Paul is a Marine stationed here and Natsuki is a native Okinawan. It was a great wedding officiated by our very own Pastor Tom.

同じ教会に行っている、私たちの友人のポールとなつきがキャンプキンザーのチャペルで結婚式を挙げました。ポールは沖縄に駐留している海兵隊で、なつきは沖縄出身です。結婚式は私たちの牧師のトム牧師が挙げました。ポール＆なつき。お幸せに！これからもよろしくね（＾＾）

Trevor and Abraham over at Our House for Dinner (トレバーとアブラハムと食事をしました)

Before Trevor left (for Sapporo) and Abraham (for Chiba), we invited them to our apartment for dinner. We enjoyed our time together but our evening went by so fast. The next day Abraham moved to the mainland Japan.

トレバー（札幌へ）とアブラハム（千葉へ）が沖縄を離れる前に、私たちのアパートで彼らと一緒に食事をしました。楽しい時間が持てましたが、時間はあっという間に過ぎてしまいました。次の日にアブラハムは本土の方へ引っ越しました。

Men's Retreat in Okuma (奥間で男性のリトリート)

Calvary Chapel Okinawa was putting on a men's retreat in Okuma, a resort area in the north of Okinawa, and invited the Bible College students, interns, and teachers to come along. Pastor Tom Hallman was visiting Okinawa with apologist, Brian Horner. Pastor Tom is seen above being hoisted up.

カルバリーチャペル沖縄は（沖縄本島の北部にある）奥間で男性のリトリートを行いました。それにバイブルカレッジの学生をはじめ、インターンと講師たちも招かれて行きました。アメリカから来ていたトム・ホルマン牧師とクリスチャンの弁証論者のブライアン・ホーナーも参加しました。

White Day Outreach (ホワイトデイ・アウトリーチ)

White Day is March 14. From my knowledge (according to Wikipedia) it is only celebrated in Korea and Japan. Valentine's Day: girls give guys stuff. White Day: guys give girls stuff. We used it as an opportunity to have an outreach at the church. Above: Tom Cotton shares his testimony of how he came to the Lord.

3月14日はホワイトデー。何でも、ウィキペディアによると、このホワイトデーは日本ンと韓国にしかないそうです。ここ日本では（韓国もそうかもしれませんが）ホワイﾄデーはバレンタインデーのお返しの日。私たちの教会ではバレンタインデーに引き続き、ホワイﾄデーにもアウトリーチをしました。トムコットンが福音のメッセージを伝えることが出来ました。

Earthquake(地震)

The earthquake this morning was pretty scary （7.0 earthquake). Since we live on the 6th floor, it shook like crazy. We jumped out of our bed (futons) and ran to catch things that were falling off our shelves. We are okay though. Thanks for asking and for your prayers.

今朝の地震は大きくて(マグネチュード7)、飛び起きるほどの揺れでした。6階に住んでいるので揺れも強く、物が落ちいてきたりして結構怖かったです。。。私たちは大丈夫です。お祈り感謝します。

Spring Training (プロ野球／春季キャンプ＆オープン戦)

Spring Training came to Okinawa! We were lucky enough to get to see the beloved Yokohama Baystars play against the Yakult Swallows with some of our friends from church. It was a pretty boring game, but it was a great time out at the old ballpark. We both have been to Baystars games before, because Yokohama is not far from Yumi's parent's home in mainland Japan. They have a bad habit of losing.

沖縄はプロ野球の春季キャンプで行われるので有名ですが、今年はオープン戦を教会の友達と見に行ってきました。由美の地元（？）の横浜ベイスターズ vs. ヤクルトスワローズの試合でした。あまり試合に動きがなくて試合より、おしゃべりに夢中になってしまいましたが、楽しかったです（＾＾）横浜ベイスターズはあまり（？）調子がよくないので、頑張れベイスターズ ！

Wedding Anniversary (結婚記念日)

Here's us on our wedding anniversary. I taught from James at the Sunday evening service and Yumi translated. It was a good way to spend our anniversary.

2/21は私たちの結婚一周年でした。この日は日曜日だったのでチャックが夜の礼拝でヤコブの手紙からメッセージをし、由美が通訳しました。主に仕える素晴らしい結婚記念日になりました。

Andrew and Kayo's Wedding (アンドリューとかよの結婚式)

Congratulations, Andrew and Kayo!! Your wedding was beautiful. What a awesome testimony of His faithfulness in your lives. We are happy that the Lord had brought you together. For the wedding, Chuck was an usher and Yumi was one of their photographers.

アンドリュー＆かよの結婚が行われました。おめでとう！主がこの2人を導いて下さり、この日が迎えられて素晴らしい結婚式でした。結婚式ではチャックは案内役をし、由美は写真を担当しました。

We moved! (引っ越しました！)

We moved! A new apartment in the city of Ginowan became available, and we felt the Lord telling us to take the offer. It is a little bit bigger and has a much better view. Praise the Lord for His provision.

私たち引っ越しました！宜野湾市内で他のアパートが与えられ、引っ越すことになりました。主の備えに感謝します。前回のアパートに比べて、スペースも広くなり、景色も良くなりました。

Valentine Outreach (バレンタイン・アウトリーチ)

We tried to do an outreach every month or so. February was an obvious one: Valentine's Day. We named the evening "Love Feast." There was a potluck dinner and plenty of musical entertainment. Everyone was instructed to wear red, white, or pink. Dan Pallman blessed us with a message from 1 John on God's love.

私たちの教会では月一でアウトリーチを行っています。2月はバレンタインの日に「ラブ・フィースト」というイベントを行いました。この日はバレンタインにちなんで、赤、白、ピンクの洋服を着て、夕飯はみんなで持ち寄り、何組かのバンドが演奏したりと楽しい時間が持てました。最後に、ダンポルマンさんが聖書の第一ヨハネの手紙から神の愛についてのメッセージがありました。
