Story of Mr. Takahashi, the Bus Driver (宣伝バスの運転手の高橋さん)

Prior to the Celebration of Hope the BGEA rented a specially-equipped bus to promote the festival using LCD videos and music on its PA system. While Yumi was working with a BGEA camera crew, she had the opportunity to interview the men responsible for renting it to the BGEA.  One of the men, Mr. Takahashi, lamented that many of his friends in Natori, a city south of Sendai, lost their lives in the tsunami.  Mr. Takahashi said that he was looking forward to Franklin Graham's message.  Apparently, he must have been listening quite well.  Mr. Takahashi went forward and made a confession of faith in Jesus Christ on the second night of the festival.  Praise the Lord.

東北・希望の祭典の開催前にを宣伝するために県内の被災地を中心にLEDの宣伝バスが走りました。その運転手の方はクリスチャンではなく、どのようにしてこのクリスチャンのイベントの宣伝をすることになったか、いきさつを聞くためにビリーグラハム伝道協会の撮影クルーに同行して運転手である高橋さんの話を聞きに行く機会がありました。高橋さんも今回の震災で多くの友人と家族を津波で亡くされました。今回の祭典でフランクリン・グラハム師のメッセージを一番楽しみにしていた高橋さんは聖書の希望のメッセージを聞いて、前へ出てイエスキリストを受け入れました。
