Sakura Viewing (お花見）

For this year's sakura viewing experience, we drove south of Sendai to Okawa.  There are 1000 sakura trees lining the side of the river.  I don't think we walked past all 1000, but we definitely saw plenty.  God's beautiful creation!

今年は桜の名所百選でも知られる大河原の桜を見てきました。町の中心を流れる白石川の堤には約８キロにわたる「一目千本桜」がありました。私たちが行った日はちょうど満開で桜並木の下を歩きとても綺麗でした。
