Katsuren Castle Ruin (勝連城跡)

One of the days when the SOS students were around, we visited the Katsuren Castle Ruins near Ie Jima (designated as one of the World Heritage sites) on the east coast of the island. It was surprising to see how much of the castle is still standing after all these years.

SOSの学生たちと一緒に、沖縄本島の東部にある伊江島に近い、勝連城跡というところへ行ってきました。世界遺産に指定されていて、何百年も経った今でも城の跡がきれいに残っていてしました。
