Vacation Bible School - VBS (バイブルキャンプ）

We held our VBS in the park this year in order to attract as many neighborhood kids as possible. We spent the days before preparing and passing out fliers to the local kids. We weren't sure how many would show up. Monday was a very light turnout, but as the days went by, more and more kids started showing up. It was a great step of faith that God honored. Thursday and Friday were canceled because of a typhoon passing by Okinawa, but it was a great three days at the park.

今年は1人でも多くの子供たちを招待するために近所の公園を使ってVBS（バイブルキャンプ）を行いました。SOSの学生やインターンたちはその準備をし私たちも一緒にチラシを配りましたが、当日何人来るかは予期出来ませんでした。月曜日は数える程しか子供たちはいませんでしたが、日が経つにつれるてもっと子供たちが来てくれました。信仰の一歩に主が喜んで下さったのだと思います。残念ながら、木曜日と金曜日は台風のためキャンセルになってしまいましたが、楽しい3日間でした。
