Miki's "Sweets" at Family Mart (ミキちゃんのスイーツがファミマで売られてました)

TV commercial that went on air in Okinawa (沖縄県内で流れたファミマのCMです)

One Saturday we were at a doctor's office, waiting for our turn. As we were watching TV, all the sudden we saw our friend, Miki on a TV show!! The show featured a college competition that Okinawa Family Mart sponsors every year. Students from 6 Okinawan universities participate in an internship and come up with a product to be sold at Family Marts. This includes market research, advertising, and negotiations with Family Mart headquarters. Miki was a part of Okinawa Christian University team and was on the commercial, too. Since Miki has told Yumi that she was working on this project a while ago, it was actually neat to see it to finished and see her on TV. So to celebrate, Yumi went to a nearby Family Mart and bought one (as seen above). It was delicious and I would say, "Good job, Miki!!" :-) By the way, Miki is the girl in the middle, wearing a red kimono in the commercial.

ある土曜日、私たちが病院で順番待ちをしていた時の話です。何気なくテレビを見ていると突然、私たちの教会の友人のミキちゃんがテレビに！何でも沖縄ファミリーマートが、毎年、商品開発から販売促進までの企業マーケティング活動に関する企業就労の体験実習を県内の大学生に対して、インターンシップを提供していて、今年のインターンシップにミキちゃんは彼女が通っている沖縄キリスト教学院大学（キリ学）のチームメンバーとして参加したそうです。このテレビ番組がその取材をしていて、ミキちゃんがテレビに出ていたのです！今年の夏、由美はミキちゃんからその話を聞いていたので実際、この企画が進んでいて終わったのを聞いて嬉しかったので、早速（！）、近くのファミマへ、キリ学のスイーツを買いに行ってきました(^^)v写真を載せましたので見てください。とても美味しかった。ミキちゃん、お疲れさま！ちなみにミキちゃんはCMでは真ん中を歩ってくる赤い着物を着ている女の子です。
