Immersing ourselves in the culture: pizza! (ユダヤの文化：ピザ)

We tried to get shawarma for dinner, but it was too late by the time we made it to a nearby restaurant. The owner directed us to a great pizza restaurant. We tried to order pepperoni, but the cashier tersely told us that it isn't kosher. Oh, right. Regardless, that pizza really hit the spot.

夕食にシャワーマを食べようと思って近くのレストランへ行ったら、もうその日の営業は終わったとのことでした。その代りに、近くにある美味しいピザ屋さんを教えてくれたので、ぺパロニピザを注文しようとしたところ、「コーシャー」（ユダヤ教の食事規定に従った食品）でないとで速効却下。。。でも、他のピザを注文して一件落着（＾＾）
