Mt. Carmel (カルメル山)

After Caesarea, we continued north to Mt. Carmel. As you may know, Mt. Carmel was the famous site of Elijah's showdown with the prophets of Baal. It was so interesting to see for myself what it actually looks like.

カイザリアの後、カルメル山へ行くために更に北上しました。知っている人も多いかと思いますが、聖書の旧約聖書、I列王記18章でエリアがカルメル山でバアルの預言者と競った場所です。実際に見ることが出来てとても勉強になりました。
