Our good friend, Ibuki came to Wednesday evening service and got to hear Chuck teach the Word. Ibuki is from Nagasaki and is a student at Ryukyu University. He comes every week to our English class (My English Lunch Time-MELT) on Thursdays. After class Ibuki and Chuck head off to the university cafeteria and have a language exchange. In addition to teaching Chuck Japanese phrases, he has been teaching Chuck some of the Nagasaki dialect for fun.
今週の水曜日の礼拝のメッセージをチャックがすることになり、イブキくんが初めて教会に来てくれました。イブキくんは長崎出身の琉大の学生で、毎週木曜日に、琉大で私たちがやっている英語のクラス（ＭＥＬＴ- メルト）に参加してくれています。チャックとイブキくんは毎週ＭＥＬTの後、一緒に琉大の食堂でお昼を食べて、お互い英語と日本語を教え合っています。何でも、イブキくんはチャックに標準語の日本語の他に長崎弁をも教えてくれているそうです。

チャックさん・・・長崎弁まで話せるようになったら・・凄すぎる！！
でも、チャックさんなら・・すぐ話せるようになりそう(笑）
