Update on Women's Bible Study (女性の聖書の学びのアップデート)

Thank you for praying for our women's Bible study on Monday nights. This past Monday we finished the study on 2 Thessalonians. We were very much challenged by the study and have renewed our desire to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with those who need to hear it. As Thessalonians were confused about the End times and lost their hope of Christ's return, we would like to "be diligent to present ourselves approved to God, workers who do not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" (2 Tim 2:15) and doing the work of an evangelist until Christ returns.

To finish off this study, we will be watching the movie, "Left Behind" with Japanese subtitles next week. As many of you know, "Left Behind" is a fictional portrayal of end times events. Please pray that God will use this to continue to encourage and challenge the women to share Jesus with their loved ones.

月曜日の女性の聖書の学びのためにお祈り頂きありがとうございました。今週の月曜日、第二テサロニケの手紙の学びを無事終わることが出来ました。この学びを通してとても多くのチャレンジを受け、そしてイエスキリストの福音を聞いて下さる人たちに伝えたいという熱い思いが再び与えられました。当時、テサロニケの教会の人たちが世の終わりの教え（終末論）について混乱し、イエスがまた戻られるという希望を失くしてしまっていましたが、私たちはそうならないように、「熟練した、すなわち、真理のみことばまっすぐに解き明かす、恥じることのない働き人として、自分たちを神にささげられるよう、努め励み」（2テモテ2:15）、キリストが戻られるまで伝道師の働きが出来ますように。


来週の月曜日に「レフトビハインド」の映画を見てこの学びを終えることになりますが、この世の終わりの教えをベースにして作られた映画を通して、一人一人が身近にいるイエスキリストを知らない家族や友人たちに福音を伝えてけるようにお祈り下さい。
