Aftermath of Typhoon Songda (台風2号の爪痕)

The first big typhoon of the season came and passed in about 4 or 5 hours.  It was quick, but it left some damage.  There wasn't any damage to our apartment, but the church's cafe sign was torn off and crumpled like a coke can.  The big empty space on the building (3rd picture) used to have the sign there.  Everyone was out in their yards cleaning up the storm debris on Sunday morning as we were going to church.

今シーズン最初の強い台風が沖縄を通過しました。しかし、土曜日の夜から4-5時間という比較的短い時間で台風は通過しましたが、翌日、この台風で多くの被害が出ていたことを知りました。ひどい所では、車が横転していたり、信号機などが壊れたりしていました。3つ目に写真を見てもらえれば分かりますが、私たちの教会のトタンの看板も強風で飛ばされてしまいました。私たちのアパートも土曜日の夜から日曜日の午後にかけて停電をし、断水状態が数時間続きました。台風の翌日は後片付けで大変でしたが、大きな被害はなく、感謝です。お祈りありがとうございました。
