What a great trip! The idea for the trip started when Yumi and I were driving around Furano when we visited Hokkaido last Fall. It's funny how you often need to get away from the usual routine of life for God to give you vision.
I think we can all testify of how much God provided for the trip: time, opportunities, unity, a spirit to work, money for plane tickets, and plenty of food. God provides. But we also got to see God at work in a guy's life as he came to put his faith in Christ. What a day that was! I'm sure we were able to plant many more seeds in the hearts of the children of Yuni, the university students, and the people in Odori Park on Monday April 25th. How great is God that he lets us partner in the work that He is doing!
今回の北海道アウトリーチを振り返ってみて、このアウトリーチのビジョンは去年の秋、北海道の富良野を訪ねていた時に与えられました。時として、このようにして日々の忙しさから離れることで主がビジョンを与えてくださることがあります。
実に、このアウトリーチのために主が多くのことを備えてくださいました。時間、行く機会、チームワーク、働く思い、費用、食事をはじめ、必要以上に多くのものが与えられました！まさに、「主の導かれるところには備えあり」です。また、感謝なことに、一人の男性がイエスキリストを自分の主、また救い主として受け入れることが出来たことも感謝なことです。私たちの祈りは、由仁の子供たち、北大や大通り公園で出会った人たちの心に植えられたみことばの種が育つことです。今回、主のなされているこの働きに私たちが参加できたことを心から感謝します。
