Sendai Relay Marathon (仙台リレーマラソン)

I (Chuck) was asked by my language school teachers to participate in a relay race in Sendai.  It had been a while since I had raced, but I was happy to have the opportunity.  Each leg was about 1500 meters (close to a mile).  The race was an eclectic mix of serious runners, not-so-serious runners, and people running in Halloween costumes.  Our team had a lot of fun and enjoyed the terrific Fall weather.

チャックが通っている日本語学校が仙台リレーマラソンに参加することになり、チャックもリレーチームに参加することになりました。一走者1,500メートルづつ走り、42.195キロをチームで走りきるレースでしたが、真剣に走る人からコスチュームを着て走る人もいてちょっとしたお祭りでした。この日は天気もとても良く、楽しいレースでした。
