Thanksgiving Event (感謝祭イベント)

Continuing with our Fall outreach series, we hosted a Thanksgiving party at a community center not far from our house.  Zach Ruiz and several helpers from CC Fuchu and Yuko from CC Ginowan, helped us immensely.  Our first task was explaining, "What is Thanksgiving?" and then we tried to weave in the idea of gratitude towards God for his abundance.  

秋のアウトリーチイベントの第二弾はサンクスギビングでした。ザック、CC府中、そしてCCBCのゆうこが手伝いに来てくれました。サンクスギビングの由来を説明した後、全てを備えて下さる神さまに感謝することの大切さを子供たちと分かち合いました。
