Harvest Festival (ハーベスト・フェスティバル)

In the fall we had the idea to hold a kid's outreach once a month in Ushiami, Higashimatsushima.  We were asked to do a Halloween thing for a community center but explained that we're not really into Halloween.  So we did a Harvest Festival instead and explained how God provides the harvest.  We had a great team of helpers from CCBC Tokyo and lots of people attended.

秋からは東松島の牛網地区で月に一度、子供向けのアウトリーチイベントをすることになりました。ハロウィーンの代わりにハーベストフェスティバルをすることで、収穫は神さまが下さることを話すことが出来ました。このイベントのためにCCBC東京のキャンパスからも大勢の学生が手伝いが来てくれてとても助かりました。また、感謝にも沢山の子供たちも参加してくれました。
