A couple of Mondays ago, the Bible College students and missionaries traveled to a small island off the coast of SE Okinawa for a day trip. I really do mean "right off the coast" -- the ferry ride was only about 30 minutes. Kudaka was a very relaxing place and had very big tide pools chocked full of crabs, star fish, and sea cucumbers. Our favorite place was the park right by the port, where we slept and read the Bible.
何週間か前、バイブルカレッジの学生たちと他の宣教師たちの仲間と一緒に沖縄本島の南東に位置する久高島という島へ日帰りで行ってきました。フェリーで30分程で行ける綺麗な島で、カニやヒトデ、ナマコが沢山いました。私たちの一番のお気に入りは港の近くにある公園で、そこで昼寝をしたり聖書を読んだりしていました。

こんな美しい場所で聖書を読んだり出来るなんて！！羨ましい！！チャックさん・・由美ちゃん、本当に2人のこれからのこと神様に祈っています。
