Christmas Eve with Yumi's Parents (クリスマスイブを由美の両親と過ごしました)

 

We spent Christmas eve at Yumi's parents before traveling to America on Christmas Day. Yumi's mom busted out the nabe pot, and we feasted on kimchi nabe. It was delicious! Yumi's mom is a great chef. After dinner, we ate Christmas cakie and had tea and coffee. We gave Yumi's mom and dad their Christmas gifts: copies of the New Testament in Japanese and a small Christian book apiece.

25日にアメリカへ出発する前に、由美の両親とキムチ鍋を囲んでクリスマスイブを過ごしました。食事の後、クリスマスケーキを食べながらコーヒーと紅茶を飲んで家族で楽しい時間が持てました。写真にもありますが、クリスマスプレゼントとして由美の両親に新約聖書とクリスチャンの本を一冊づつプレゼントしました。
