SP House Dedication in Nobiru (野蒜でSPの祝福式)

Talk about good timing.  While the Okinawa gang was here, we were asked to help at a Samaritan's Purse house dedication in Nobiru (not too far from where we live.)  I (Chuck) shared the message, Yumi translated, and Kazuki and Natsuki helped out in worship.   The homeowner shared a heart-wrenching story about the wave that hit Nobiru.  She was almost moved to tears when she heard Matthew 11:28-29 and the rest that Jesus gives.

宜野湾チームは今回の滞在中は大忙しでした！この週、ちょうどサマリタンズパースの家屋修繕プログラムで家を直された方の祝福式（完成式）が私たちが住む宮戸島の 野蒜（のびる）でありました。通常、祝福式では家主さんとご家族を招いて、聖書の中から祝福のメッセージをして賛美をします。今回は宜野湾チームに賛美を担当し、チャックがメッセージを取り次ぎました。家主さんも当日、どのようにして野蒜が大波に襲われたかを生々しく話して下さいました。マタイ11:28-29にイエスさまご自身が休息を下さるというみことばを聞き、家主さんもとても感動され、涙されてました。
