Women's Progressive Dinner (女性のプログレシブ・ディナー)

What is a "Progressive Dinner?"  Most of us did not know what it was and asked each other this question.  Chuck said, this is kind of a "California thing."  I guess people on the east coast are not used to this kind of thing, either.  But it was A LOT OF FUN!!  Basically, we went to 3 different houses (one in Yomitan, another in Chatan, and and the third in Ginowan) and had a different dinner course at each.  So I guess you can say, "our dinner progressed over time and different locations." 

At the first house (Takako-san's), we had a salad and played an ice breaker game.  Then, we drove to Natsuki's house (second house) for the main course.  To finish off the night, we went to Joanna's house for dessert.  I (Yumi) was asked to share a devotion.  The Lord gave me something to share with  the ladies, although it was a bit short.  As always, the devotion that the Lord gave me was what I also needed to hear and take to heart. 

今回、女性の「プログレシブ・ディナー」することになりましたが、ほとんどの人たちがそれが何であるのか分かりませんでした。チャックも、これはカルフォルニア特有のものなのではと言っていました。しかし、実際やるととても楽しく、多くの女性が集まってくれました。プログレシブ・ディナーとは3軒の家を回りながら、それぞれの家でみんなと交わりをするものでした。

一軒目の読谷の孝子さんの家ではサラダを食べた後、ゲームをしたりしました。次にでメインコースをを食べるために、北谷にあるなつきの家へ行き、その後、最後にしめでジョアンナさんの家でデザートを食べました。今回は私（由美）が短いデボーションをすることになりましたが、みんなと分かち合った内容を私にも語って下さいました。
