Biei: Patchwork Road (美瑛：パッチワーク・ロード)

We spent a good bit of time on Friday tracking down sites in Yumi's guide book. The area around Biei is a famous area called the "patchwork road" because of the beautiful fields. We stopped by some well-known trees that have been used in advertising over the years. I (Chuck) liked the tree that was used in a cigarette commercial.

富良野に着いた後、直ぐ美瑛へ移動し、由美が持ってきたのガイドブックを見ながらドライブしました。美瑛には「パッチワーク・ロード」という絶景の場所があり、テレビのCMで使われたという、いくつかの木を見て回りました。チャックは特に「セブンスターの木」がお気に入りだったそうです。
