Day 3: the Ancient Galilee Boat (3日目：古代ガリラヤ船)

Friday 7/2 - Today we stayed in Tiberias and toured the Galilee. Our first stop was the Ancient Boat of Galilee (aka "the Jesus Boat"). It was discovered on January 24, 1986 by two men in Galilee after a drought caused the waters to recede. It was a lengthy process to restore to remove the boat from the mud and then to a condition in which it could be displayed.

7/2（金曜日）- 今日はテベリヤのホテルに泊まって、ガリラヤを見てまわりました。最初のストップは古代ガリラヤ船（"イエスの船")。干ばつでガリラヤ湖の水位が下がった翌年、1986年1月24日に2人の男性によって湖底から発見されたそうです。泥まみれだった状態からこのように展示できるまで長い時間がかかったそうです。
