Day 5: Qumran (5日目：クムラン)

Sunday 7/4 - Our first stop in the desert was Qumran. This was the site of the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1947. It is fascinating that the scrolls sat preserved for thousands of years in a dry desert cave.

7/4（日曜日） - 今日の最初のストップはクムランでした。1947年、ここであの有名な死海写本（死海文書）が発見されました。このような砂漠の洞窟で何千年もの間、この写本が保存されていたなんて、とても興味深いです。
