Day 7: Walking Tour of Jerusalem (7日目：エルサレムのウォーキング・ツアー)

Wednesday 7/7 - We took a free walking tour of the "old city" of Jerusalem. The tour was an overview of the four quarters of Jerusalem (Armenian, Christian, Muslim, and Jewish). The Western ("wailing") Wall was, in my opinion, the most interesting spot on the tour, seeing orthodox Jews pray wearing phylacteries (Hebrew: tefillin).

7/7（水曜日）- エルサレム旧市街のツアーへ行ってきました。アルメニア人、クリスチャン、イスラム、ユダヤ人街を歩いて回るツアーでした。個人的には正統派ユダヤ教徒の男たちがフィラクテリーを額につけて、実際に「西の壁」、別名「嘆きの壁」で祈っている姿を見れたのが印象的でした。
