Special Seaweed (特別な海苔)

Here is the story behind this "Special Seaweed."  While we were at Tsukihama Evac Center, Chiba-san (the head of the evac center) gave us a whole pack of seaweed that was packaged in Oku-Matsushima.  He told us that this was one of the last batches that was packaged on March 11th (that day the tsunami hit).  They wanted to bless us with this special seaweed.  We were very much touched by their generosity.

「特別な海苔」とは？実は私たちが月浜避難所にスパムむすびを持って行った際、そちらの所長さんの千葉さんからこの海苔を頂きました。何でもこの海苔はあの3/11の震災があった日に最後に作った海苔だそうです。その特別な海苔を私たちにまでも分けて下り、頭の下がる思いでした。皆さんの親切に心から感謝します。
